WEEK 9 /10 RECONSTRUCT INTO NEW GARMENT ,I have explored and examined jacket as it is, l have turned the collar to be the back ,have also made collar to be the halter-neck,the two sleeves has been opened ,and i have made them to be the front of the jacket ,but still unfinished and under working progress


WEEK 8 ,JUNKY FASHION (RECONSTRUCTION & DECONSTRUCTION .Junky fashion is an innovative design led-label ,all garments are made from the high quality second hand which is deconsructed -re-cut and completely transformed .After researching on Junky fashion artists,I have been able to de-construct,re-cut man`s jacket and reconstructed it onto lady`s junky style dress , What makes the dress interesting was how I created garment without the preliminary design ,I will move my design idea forward in my final garment by incorporate sewing instead of hand stitching






WEEK 7 ,COWL NECK CONSTRUCTION & MODELLING ON THE STAND .Cowl neck is a neckline that resemble an unstructured floopy and drapes below the collarbone.the cow neck is most often features on both short sleeve and sleeves .The style is said to have been inspired by early Grecians fashion.







WEEK 6 ORIGAMI ARTIST /PLEATING DESIGN DEVELOPMENT IDEAS .I have been inspire by Issey Miyake origami collection stair case ll of fashion,I find the idea so much intrigue because the garment was cut and placed between paper sheet and finally heat treated in press to create his signature pleated look.I drew my line up which could be sew with fabric .






WEEK 5 PLEATING EXERCISES /DEVELOPMENT .It was a pleasure having Terry Weinert of cement pleaters,when he visited UEL ,he showed us pleating samples ,I took pictures of the samples demonstrated to us,this has helped me to made my pleats pattern design in calico , fabric samples, these samples were cut and then placed between paper sheets and later heat treated in a press to create pleated look.











WEEK 4 TRANSFORMATION /RECONSTRUCTION .I find Shingo Sato design process transformation reconstruction exciting which he done in 3D that gives so much more possibilities to be creative .I have drawn a curve from the edge of the neckline down to the bust point .I also made paper design using a simple bodice , by cutting out one side of the darts and folded it onto the bodice by fixing some cello-tape onto it .



WEEK 3 ,FASHION ARTISTS /FABRIC SAMPLES,CREATIVE CUTTING DEVELOPMENT . I have chosen Victor and Rolf & Junya -Watanabe images because they both have potential in geometric shapes in transformational reconstruction.I find these images interesting because they are both looks amazing .
















WEEK 1& 2 PAPER MODELLING ACTIVITIES ,I Find week one very interesting in school ,I was able to work on Reconstruction on 3D by using cello-tape to wrapped paper on the stand,it has helped my knowledge and creativity design
